Ruchi Tandon

Ruchi Tandon is a dedicated Kathak dancer, performer, and teacher, who balances her passion for Indian classical dance with her profession as a software engineer. She has committed a significant portion of her life outside of work to the art form, engaging in continuous learning, performing, and imparting her knowledge to others. Ruchi has a substantial background in Kathak, having trained for approximately seven years under Sahasra Sambamoorthi at Navatman, a Bharatanatyam and Kathak dance company based in New York City. Her training also includes seven years of study with Deepali Vichare in Mumbai. Further advancing her dance education, Ruchi has pursued intensive training under the tutelage of Guru Prashant Shah. She is an active performer with Prashant Shah and Dancers, participating in tours across major cities throughout the United States. In addition to her classical dance pursuits, Ruchi also spent four years dancing at Bollywood Funk NYC, where she performed in numerous shows and events.
