Dr. Sabrina Madabhushi is a prominent Bharatanatyam teacher and the director of the Ragini School of Fine Arts, based in Tampa, Florida, USA. She is a third-generation Bharatanatyam dancer, following in the footsteps of her mother and guru, Smt. Geetha Raaj (also known as Guru Geetha Raaj Karkera). Her mother, Geetha Raaj, is a senior disciple of Gurus Mahalingam Pillai, Govindaraja Pillai, and Karunambal. Sabrina Madabhushi is also associated with Nritya Academy. Under her direction, the Ragini School of Fine Arts, in collaboration with Nritya Academy, achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Florida Indian dance schools to be invited to perform at Carnegie Hall's World Stage Stern Auditorium in New York City on July 7, 2024, as part of the All Indian Dance Festival. She is also the mother of Parth Iyyangar Madabhushi, who performed his Bharatanatyam arangetram on September 16, 2018, under the guidance of his grandmother, Geetha Raaj. Sabrina Madabhushi has been actively involved in educating and propagating Bharatanatyam, with her work being recognized in local media for its contribution to preserving Indian classical arts.
