Sammohana Mosalikanti is an emerging Kuchipudi dancer and a dedicated assistant teacher at Shivamohanam, a renowned institution for Kuchipudi dance located in Chennai, India. She is the daughter and disciple of the highly esteemed Kuchipudi exponents and gurus, Jaikishore and Padmavani Mosalikanti, who established Shivamohanam in 2002. The institution, legally set up in 2014, is a testament to her parents' shared passion for the art form and their vision of nurturing well-rounded artists who contribute to societal advancements through dance. Sammohana plays an active role in Shivamohanam, assisting in instructing students at the main branch in Ramapuram, Chennai. Her involvement reflects the institution's tailor-made teaching method, which emphasizes not only dance proficiency but also spirituality, values, morals, and ethos, aiming to develop students into good dancers, performers, and individuals who contribute to the art's growth. As a performer, Sammohana has graced various stages. Her Rangapravesham, a significant solo debut, was celebrated as an event that not only showcased her passion but also represented the lineage and future legacy of her dance tradition. She has been a part of group performances by the Shivamohanam troupe, including a notable appearance at The Music Academy's Margazhi dance festival in January 2023, where she performed alongside her parents, Jaikishore and Padmavani Mosalikanti, and other dancers. In 2023, she also performed in a group show by Shivamohanam students at Bharat Kalachar's Margazhi Utsav in Chennai. More recently, in August 2026, Sammohana accompanied Dr. Padmavani Mosalikanti in a Kuchipudi performance during a lecture on Kuchipudi choreographies at the GITAM School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Through her performances and teaching, Sammohana Mosalikanti continues to contribute to the rich tradition of Kuchipudi dance.
