Sanjana Subramanian is a Bharatanatyam dancer, teacher, and choreographer who performs regularly in both Singapore and India. She began her Bharatanatyam training at the age of five under Smt Ranganayaki Jayaraman. Later, she continued her studies at the Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS) in 2009, where she trained under Smt Roopika Julian. Currently, she is pursuing advanced training under Kalakshetra Shri Hari Padman. Sanjana is also a freelance trainer and choreographer in Bharatanatyam. She is the founder and head of Kalpavriksha Fine Arts Ltd, a non-profit performing arts company based in Singapore. This company focuses on community outreach and raising awareness about classical dance through performances and dialogue sessions. She has been recognized for her performances, receiving the 'best performer' award at the Bharat Nritya Utsav dance festival, organized by Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Sabha, in both 2015 and 2017.
