Sarvani Sashidhar, also known as Sarvani Yadavalli, is a prominent Indian classical dancer specializing in Kuchipudi, an art form originating from Andhra Pradesh. She began her training at the age of five, demonstrating an inherent affinity for dance, and has been performing since she was seven years old. Sarvani received her dance education from esteemed gurus including Padmasri Dr. Sobha Naidu, Vedantam Radhey Shyam garu, Seetha Nagajothy garu, and Rajaram garu. She holds a distinction in a Certificate course in Kuchipudi dance from Potti Sree Ramulu University. Beyond her artistic pursuits, Sarvani is also an engineer, having graduated from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS, Pilani). She has an extensive performing career spanning over two decades, having graced stages in more than 15 countries across national and international events. Her performances include prestigious festivals such as the Common Wealth Games Inauguration in 2010, Konark Dance Festival, and Rukminidevi Arundale Dance Festival. She has also performed for high dignitaries, including the President and Prime Minister of India. Sarvani is also a choreographer, having created numerous productions like "Women-the bliss," "Nrithya Sangamam," and "Siva Tandavam." She founded Sahasra Fine Arts, an institution dedicated to imparting the rich tradition of Kuchipudi and other classical art forms, offering classes to students worldwide, including in the UK. She is an empanelled artist with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and the India World Cultural Forum (IWCF).
