Sarvani Yeleswarapu is a Kuchipudi dancer and teacher, representing the fourth generation of a family deeply dedicated to the classical art form in Kuchipudi village, Andhra Pradesh, India. Her lineage traces back to her grandfather and father, both of whom were Kuchipudi performers and teachers. Sarvani began her journey in dance at the tender age of three, with her formal training commencing in Class II with Gajja Pooja. Despite her father's initial reservations about the financial viability of a career in Kuchipudi, Sarvani pursued her passion, even earning an MBA. She currently teaches at her father's Kuchipudi school, demonstrating that dedication can sustain an artist. For Sarvani, Kuchipudi is more than just a performance; it is a lifelong devotion to Lord Shiva and a continuous learning process. She has performed at various events, including the Young Talents Fest in Kochi, an event jointly organized by Bharat Bhavan, Kerala State Youth Welfare Board, and Samsiddhi.
