Shefali Lahoti is an accomplished Indian classical dancer, choreographer, and teacher, primarily known for her expertise in Kathak and her contributions to Indian Contemporary dance. She holds the title of Kathak Visharad, signifying her extensive training in Indian dance styles. Lahoti began her professional dance career at the age of six and started teaching and choreographing at sixteen. She is the Founder-Director of Shefali Lahoti's Cultural Academy (SLCA), established in 1994, and also serves as the Artistic Director of KalaaHarmony. Throughout her career, she has staged over 200 solo and group dance performances across India and internationally, representing India as a cultural ambassador in countries such as the USA, Japan, UK, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Germany, and Finland. Shefali Lahoti is based in Pune, India.
