Shreyasi Gopinath is a Bharatanatyam dancer, teacher, and choreographer from New Delhi, India. She began her formal training at the age of seven under the tutelage of Padma Bhushan awardee Guru Dr. Saroja Vaidyanathan. At fifteen, Gopinath joined the Kalakshetra Foundation in Chennai, where she underwent intensive training for six years and earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Bharatanatyam. She further continued her training under the late Guru Jamuna Krishnan and currently trains with Guru Dr. G Ratheesh Babu. In 2014, Shreyasi Gopinath founded the Shreyasi Gopinath Dance Academy, where she mentors young and emerging dancers while actively pursuing choreography and performance. Her performances have graced prestigious platforms such as the Khajuraho Dance Festival, Namaste France Festival, Sangeet Natak Akademi, and Soorya Festival. She is a scholarship holder from the Government of India's Ministry of Culture, an A-graded Doordarshan artist, and empanelled with the India International Rural Cultural Centre. In October 2022, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, deputed Shreyasi Gopinath as the Head of the Cultural Centre at the Consulate General of India in Réunion Island, France. She was also invited to perform the opening dance recital in honor of Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi during his visit to Paris for the Bastille Day Parade.
