Shrilekha Tungaturthi is an Indian classical dancer specializing in Bharatanatyam. An Ottawa native, she is a dedicated disciple of Guru Sheela Chandrashekar, the founder and artistic director of the Rathi School of Dance in Ottawa. The Rathi School of Dance, established in 1980, focuses on propagating the classical Indian dance form of Bharatanatyam in the Pandanallur style. Shrilekha has been an active performer with the Rathi School of Dance, showcasing her talent in various events. Her performances include a captivating dance at "Mano Live in Concert feat. Flute Siva & Band," choreographed by her guru, Sheela Chandrashekar. Through her training and performances, Shrilekha contributes to the preservation and promotion of Bharatanatyam in Canada.
