Shruthipriya Vignesh, also known as Shruthipriya R. and Shruthipriya Ravi, is a dynamic, seasoned, and sought-after Bharatanatyam artiste with over 27 years of performing experience. Initiated into dance at the tender age of four by Shri J. Suryanārayana Mūrthy in Chennai, India, she further honed her skills with abhinaya training under Smt. Braghā Bessell. Since 2009, Shruthipriya has been a disciple under the guidance of Smt. Nithyakalyāni Vaidyanāthan. Her Salangai Pūja took place on October 2, 2002, followed by her Arangētram on August 14, 2004. She commenced her solo performing career on November 11, 2006, at the Kārtik Fine Arts. Shruthipriya has performed extensively on leading stages and at sabhās across India and internationally, and is a "B"-graded artiste at Doordarshan. Her career includes joining Padma Shri Leela Samson's Spanda Dance Company in 2019, being an empanelled artist at SPIC MACAY, and participating in workshop demonstration series. She has collaborated with numerous luminaries such as Prof. C. V. Chandrasekhar, Pandit Shri Birju Maharāj, and Smt. Rhādhā. In 2013, Shruthipriya founded Sampradāya, an institution dedicated to helping students develop into artists who contribute positively to society.
