Guru Siddarth Kelam is a Bharatanatyam dancer, teacher, choreographer, and musician, recognized for his contributions to Indian classical dance, particularly in the United States. He commenced his Bharatanatyam training at the age of four in India, initially under the guidance of his father, Sudershan Kelam. After relocating to the United States, he continued his intensive training under his mother, Padmaja Kelam, who serves as the Director of Kalaivani Dance and Music Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. Siddarth has further enhanced his dance expertise through workshops and training with esteemed gurus including Sri C.V. Chandrashekar, Smt. Vasundhara Doraiswarmy, Smt. Kalanidhi Narayan, Smt. Priyadarshini Govind, and Sri Madurai R. Muralidharan. Beyond his primary focus on Bharatanatyam, Siddarth Kelam possesses a diverse artistic skill set. He has received training in Carnatic vocals from Guru Savitha Namuduri and Guru Srinath Kalavichirathil, and in mridangam from Guru Subramaniam Vishwanathan, Guru Bharadan, and Guru Santosh Chandru. Academically, he holds a degree in Audio Engineering from SAE Atlanta, which complements his significant career in the music industry. His professional experience includes serving as the Director of Operations at the Grammy-nominated Bravo Ocean Studios and establishing his own video production company, Sidd Kel Vision (also known as Sidd Kel Productions). Currently, Siddarth Kelam is the Co-Director of Kalaivani Dance and Music Academy in Atlanta, where he is actively involved in teaching, music composition, choreography, and nattuvangam for various productions. His performance career includes appearances at prestigious venues such as the Fox Theater, Atlanta Symphony Hall, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, and Nungambakkam Performing Arts in Chennai, India.
