Smriti Raj is a highly qualified Kathak exponent and teacher based in Aundh, Pune, India, with over two decades of experience in Indian classical dance. She holds a Master of Arts in Kathak from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh University, earned in 2002. Her extensive training also includes Nritya-Nipun and Nritya-Visharad from Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, and Nritya-Prabhakar from Prayag Sangeet Samiti. Smriti Raj is recognized as an ICCR empanelled artist and a Delhi Doordarshan approved Kathak Dance Artist, signifying her standing in the field. She is also a member of the International Dance Council (UNESCO) and has been awarded a National Scholarship in Kathak.
