She serves as the director of Kuchipudi Natya Vihar, an institution with teaching locations in Lake Zurich and Rolling Meadows, Illinois, where she imparts the art form to numerous young and aspiring dancers. Her foundational training in Kuchipudi began under the tutelage of “Natya Kala Ratna” Sri Pasumarthy Venkateswara Sarma, who is a senior disciple of the revered Guru Padmabhushan Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam and the founder of Sri Bala Tripura Sundari Kuchipudi Natya Kalakshetram. Tammana further refined her artistry under the guidance of Sri Vempati Ravi. Her performing career has seen her present numerous solo recitals and participate in dance ballets across India, the United States, and Canada. Notably, she has taken on lead female roles in several ballets choreographed by her guru, Sri Sarma. Her acclaimed portrayals include Mohini in “Mohini-Bhasmasura,” Sakthi in “Mahishasura Mardhini,” Parvathi in “Parvathi Parinayam,” and Draupadhi in “Keechakavadha,” all of which have earned her considerable recognition.
