Dr. Srinibas Ghatuary is an internationally recognized Odissi dancer, performer, and guru based in Puri, India. He is highly regarded for his contributions to Indian classical dance, particularly Odissi, and is also a dedicated researcher, writer, and archivist. Dr. Ghatuary has achieved significant academic distinctions in the field of dance, holding multiple honorary doctorates and PhDs, including a Ph.D. from Bangalore Central University, a D.Litt from Central American University, and a Ph.D. from Oftonga University. He was notably conferred with an honorary Doctorate by Delhi Govt. University around December 2021 for his innovative research in dance, making him the first artist in India to receive such an honor. Beyond his performing and research endeavors, Dr. Ghatuary is the founder of ANUCHINTANAM, an organization dedicated to supporting aspirants of fellowships and research scholars in dance, music, literature, and the Jagannath Cult. ANUCHINTANAM also provides impactful training in Odissi Dance, anchoring, and astrology.
