Born and educated outside Odisha, Smt Sucharita Tripathy's classical dance journey began with Bharatanatyam for three years during her school days. Her formal training in Odissi commenced under the guidance of Guru Natabar Maharana in the Guru Kelucharan Mahapatra style while pursuing her undergraduate studies in St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. After a temporary interruption due to career, marriage, and motherhood, she resumed her dance journey in Ahmedabad. There, she became a dedicated student of Aum Arts Dance Academy, under the guidance of Guru Smt. Suprava Mishra, of whom she is now a senior disciple. Smt Tripathy has performed at several prestigious festivals, including the Khajuraho Dance Festival, Konark Dance Festival, Modhera Dance Festival, Somnath Dance Festival, Kankaria Festival, and Ahmedabad Literature Festival, earning widespread appreciation and accolades. She is also a full-time Director at Tectona Softsolutions.
