Supriya Shivarudrappa is an accomplished Indian classical dancer specializing in Bharatanatyam. She is a devoted disciple of Karnataka Kala Tilaka Smt. Radha Sridhar, having trained under her for over 17 years. Supriya Shivarudrappa holds a Master of Arts (Bharatanatyam) from Jain University, where she was awarded a gold medal. Her dedication to the art form has also been recognized with an HRD scholarship for Bharatanatyam from the Government of India. Throughout her career, Supriya Shivarudrappa has performed extensively both in India and internationally. She is also an active educator, having commenced her teaching career around 2013. As of March 2018, she was teaching students at Shankaraa Foundation in Bengaluru. Furthermore, she has handled proficiency classes and practice sessions for scholarship holders at Venkatesha Natya Mandir, an institution founded by her guru, Radha Sridhar. In May 2026, Supriya Shivarudrappa presented a Bharatanatyam performance at the Vaishakha Natanam 25 festival held at Bekal Gokulam Goushala, offering devotion through Indian Classical Dance. She is also recognized as a performer, choreographer, and teacher in Bangalore. Awards & Honours: HRD Scholarship for Bharatanatyam, Gold Medal in Master of Arts (Bharatanatyam).
