Tadepalli Saikrishna is a Kuchipudi dancer born on August 12th in Kuchipudi village to Tadepalli Suryanarayana Murthy and Rajeswari. He hails from an illustrious family, with his paternal great-grandfather, Tadepalli Peraiya Sastry, being a guru to Vempati Chinna Satyam and a key figure in shifting his family's focus from accompanist roles to dance teaching and learning. Saikrishna began his dance training at the age of five years, five months, and five days under Vedantam Radheshyam. He continued his Kuchipudi education under Padmasri Dr. Vedantam Satyanarayana Sarma. He also completed a Certificate course in Kuchipudi from Siddhendra Kalakshetra, Kuchipudi, guided by his elder brother, Tadepalli Satyanarayana Sarma. Currently, he is being groomed by Dr. Vedantam Ramalinga Sastry, Vedantam Venkatanagachalapathy, and Chinta Ravibalakrishna, focusing on challenging characters, including female personification roles, in Kuchipudi Yakshaganams and Kalapams. His interest in Kuchipudi Yakshaganam was influenced by Guru Vedantam Venkatanaga Chalapathi, and Late Chinta Ramanathan was instrumental in his in-depth study of dance and literature. Saikrishna has performed in numerous prestigious festivals and events across India, including Tirumala Brahmasotav, Sangita Natak Academy, Silicon Andhra Guinness Records events, and Siddhendra Yogi Festivals in major cities. He is an active member of the Kuchipudi Bhagavathamelam, involved in event management, conducting festivals, and dedicated to propagating, preserving, and protecting the art form. He holds a bachelor's degree in commerce and is pursuing a master's, and is also a 'Dwivedi', having achieved Ganapatti in Krishna Yajur Vedam and Moolam in Atharvana Vedam.
