Tarini Tripathi is a third-generation Kathak dancer, continuing a rich family legacy in the Indian classical dance form. She received her training from her grandmother, Guru Padma Sharma, and her mother, Gauri Sharma Tripathi, both eminent figures in Kathak. This strong lineage has allowed her to delve into the diverse aspects of Kathak while maintaining its traditional vocabulary. Tripathi is actively involved in performing and teaching, serving as the Co-Director, Principal Dancer, and Dance Faculty at Amara Nritya Kala Hansa (ANKH) and ANKH Dance UK. She has performed extensively, often alongside her mother and grandmother, and has collaborated with other artists such as Shalmali Zankar, Neeti Premkumar, and Neeraj Lohani. Her performances blend classical and contemporary movements, exploring philosophical themes. Tarini Tripathi is currently pursuing her Masters in Performing Arts from Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University and further studies with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, UK. Beyond her dance qualifications, she is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach Specialist (NSCA), Master Functional Trainer, Pilates Instructor, and Rehab Trainer.
