Vimmy B Eswar is a distinguished Indian classical dancer, performer, and educator specializing in Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam. Her dance journey began at the age of five in Abu Dhabi, where she commenced her Kuchipudi tutelage under Mrs. Arti Dolwani, following the Sri Bhagavatula Rama Kotaiah lineage. She later embraced and adapted to the style of the legendary Guru Sri Padma Bhushan Guru Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam, receiving guidance from various experts trained under him. Eswar also holds a Masters of Arts in Bharatanatyam from Periyar University and a Certification in Nattuvangam from Thanjavur University, further enriching her understanding of classical arts. She has also received personal blessings from Dr. Uma Rama Rao, an eminent professor of Kuchipudi, and insights into the history and development of Kuchipudi from Guru Sri. Kesava Prasad. As an ardent performer, Vimmy B Eswar has represented Indian traditions and dance forms internationally in countries such as Belarus, Russia (Moscow), and Indonesia. Her choreographies have been showcased across India in significant cultural centers including Kuchipudi village, Thanjavur, Vijayawada, Bhubaneshwar, Chidambaram, Chennai, Guruvayur, and Thrissur. She is the co-founder of Antara Institutions (also known as Antara Music and Dance Academy or Antara Institute of Performing Arts LLC) in Dubai, where she advocates for Indian culture and heritage through traditional arts. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes dance as a discipline and a way of life, focusing on bringing out the exact beauty and elegance of techniques while presenting the history, origin, and basic principles with utmost purity. She contributes to the arts society through her choreographies and repertoires across the Indian subcontinent, Far East, Middle East, and Europe.
