Yeleswarapu Nageswara Sarma was a highly revered guru and prominent figure in Indian classical dance, specifically Kuchipudi. He was a disciple of eminent Kuchipudi exponents, including Vempati Peda Sathyanarayana and Vedantam Parvateesam. Sarma dedicated over fifty years to imparting his extensive knowledge of Kuchipudi to numerous students, establishing a significant teaching legacy. His contributions to the art form were recognized with the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship in 2007. He is remembered as a guru who trained many dancers, including Guru Smt Vijaya Prasad.
