Antara Datta is a distinguished Kathak dancer, choreographer, and educator, recognized for her contributions to Indian classical dance in North America. 2010
Founded Anga Kala Kathak Academy — Established in Seattle, WA. Also taught as adjunct faculty at Cornish College of Arts.
2012
Relocated to Ohio — Established Anga Kala Kathak Academy in Akron and Solon, OH.
2014
Taught at Kent State University
2015
Founded Arts Without Borders — A 501(c)(3) organization to popularize classical performing arts.
2016
Performed at Madison Square Garden — With Kathak Maestro Pandit Birju Maharaj's troupe.
2017
Received ALPHA Women Award — From Elite Women Around the Globe. Also taught at the University of Akron and opened a center in Pittsburgh, PA.
2021
Anga Kala Dance Company took shape
2022
Presented "Yatra-the journey" production — At the Breen Center for the Performing Arts in Cleveland, Ohio.

Opened center in Westlake, OH
