Studied various dance forms — Including ballet, contemporary, African, historical dance, Kathak, and Bharatanatyam.

Studied Odissi with Frederique Marglin

Began Flamenco studies — At Boston Conservatory of Music.

1980

Continued diverse dance studies in New York City — Including ballet, contemporary, dance therapy, Laban notation, tap, jazz, and Flamenco.

1981

Studied Odissi with Indrani Rahman and Rajika Puri

Studied Bharatanatyam in India — With C.V. Chandrasekher in Varanasi and Adyar Lakshmanan in Chennai.

Served as assistant to Indrani Rahman — At the Harvard Summer Dance Center.

Performed in New York — At the Indian Consulate and various theaters.

Presented academic talks and lecture-demonstrations — At universities including Smith College, Harvard University, New York University, and University of South Florida.

Developed innovative Indian dance program for children — In various schools.

Became a professional flamenco dancer in Spain — Under the name Clara Mora.

Resumed Bharatanatyam studies with Gloria Mandelik — And joined the Natyakshetra group of the Gloria Mandelik Dance Company.

Represented Madrid Embassy's Tourism Office — At festivals and events.

Offered Bharatanatyam classes for the Indian community in Madrid — At the Geeta Ashram.

1996

Began teaching Bharatanatyam in Spain — Has been teaching for almost 30 years.

Served as Bharatanatyam professor for Escuela Nataraya — Training students for Prayag Sangeet Samiti examinations.

Pioneered bringing Bharatanatyam dancers and teachers to Madrid — Including Rama Vaidyanathan, Gayatri Sreeram, and Lucrezia Maniscotti.
