Journey Timeline

Arangettam — Held at the Karthyayani Temple in Edanadu at the age of seven.

Joined Kerala Kalamandalam — Joined at the age of 13.

1967

First student of Mizhavu department — Became the first student when a separate department for mizhavu was instituted under Guru P.K. Narayanan Nambiar at Kalamandalam.

1974

Began accompanying Guru Ammanur Madhava Chakyar — Associated with Guru Ammanur Madhava Chakyar for performances and learning in gurukula style.

2005

Participated in Drum Festival in Korea
