Naatyasaraswati Jatti Tayamma (1857-1947), the pioneer of the Mysore style of Bharatanatyam. The Mysore bani took shape after Chinnaiah of the Tanjore Quartet was invited to the Mysore court; Jatti Tayamma became its foremost exponent.
