Jenani Kumar is a Bharatanatyam teacher and performer of Sri Lankan Tamil heritage, based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. She is the founder and director of Shilompoli Shethra Dance Academy, established in 1994, where she trains students across the GTA together with Kumari Thameera Kumar. She has taken lead roles in numerous dance dramas, and the academy is a regular presence at community festivals including Canada Diwali celebrations.
