Late teens
Inspired by Sanjukta Panigrahi — Decided to learn Odissi after watching a performance by Smt. Sanjukta Panigrahi.
Training under Smt. Dipanwita Roy — Trained locally for two years under Smt. Dipanwita Roy.
Training under Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra — Began intensive training under the tutelage of Padma Vibhushan Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra.
2000
Began teaching and performing — Started promoting Odissi through concerts, workshops, and demonstrations.
2002
Moved to Wilmington, MA — Became a resident of Wilmington, MA.
2015
Performed at CID UNESCO Congress — Invited to perform at the International Dance Council- CID UNESCO's first congress in the United States.

Weeklong residency in New Hampshire — Undertook a weeklong residency with Arts Alliance of Northern New Hampshire.

Premiered "Sheva…my precious Treasure" — Her first original full-length choreography, "Sheva…my precious Treasure," premiered in April.

Received Padmawati Rasthriya Award — Awarded the "Padmawati Rasthriya Award" by the National Cultural Mission in Odisha.

Created "Re-discover Mass through Odissi" — Created a dance video project showcasing natural landscapes of Massachusetts.

Residency with Arts Council of Tamworth — Invited to a weeklong residency by the Arts Council of Tamworth in New Hampshire.
