Born in Hyderabad

Began Bharatanatyam training at age five — Under Guru T. Mohana at Raja Rajeswari Kala Mandal Dance Academy, Mumbai.

Family relocated to Chennai at age twelve — Continued dance education with Guru Mahalingam Pillai, Adyar K. Lakshman, Smt. Shantha, and V.P. Dhananjayan.

1986

Featured as lead dancer in the Tamil film Ananda Tandavam — A production of her Guru Adyar K Lakshman.

2002

Produced and choreographed "Purushartha"

2003

Produced and choreographed "Sacrifice"

2006

Produced and choreographed "Krishna: The Supreme Mystic"

Transitioned to full-time dance career — In the latter half of the 2000s.
