1964
Joined Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya — Completed a six-year course under Guru Pankhaj Charan Das, Guru Dev Prasad Das, and Dr. Minati Misra.
1971
Migrated to Mumbai
1972
Began teaching Odissi in Mumbai — After a solo performance at Sur Singar Samsad, he was asked to teach.
1974
First international teaching visit — Taught in Mauritius for three months, invited by Flora Devi.
1989
First workshop in London — Organized at Akademi, invited by Sanjeevini Dutta.
2013
Received Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Award — Awarded for lifetime achievement in Odissi dance.
