Began teaching career — Joined dance faculty at Padma Seshadari Bala Bhavan in Chennai.
1980
Film role in 'Purandaradasar' — Received Best Child Artist State Award and Film Fans Association, Devar Virudhu Best Child Artist award.
1981
International performance in Colombo — Performed a dance ballet before the former President of Colombo, Mr. Jayawardene.
1986
Received Best Senior Artist Award — Awarded by Sankarabaranam Trust.
1990
Received Yuva Kala Bharathi Award — Awarded by Bharat Kalachar.
1991
Received Best Junior Artist Award — Awarded by Narada Gana Sabha.
