Intensive studies in Orissa — Moved to Bhubaneswar, Orissa, for two years of intensive training at the Odissi Research Center under Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra.

Began teaching and performing — Started learning, teaching, choreographing, performing, and producing Odissi dance in the United States and India.
Founded Odissi Vilas — Established Odissi Vilas: Sacred Dance of India (formerly Sri~Krishnasraya).
