About
The Kala Kendra College of Music and Dance, established through the efforts of Dr. H.M. Patel, was inaugurated on July 30th, 1969, by Sangeetacharya and Yogacharya Brahmleen Swami Shri Kriplavnandji. Bharatanatyam classes commenced in 1972, and Kathak is also taught. The institution, run by Charutar Vidyamandal (CVM), was renamed Rama Manubhai Desai College of Music and Dance in January 2002.
