Lakshya Arts Inc.

About

The community of Indian classical musicians and dancers in the United States is growing every day: more students training rigorously, more artists reaching performance-ready skill, more passion for the tradition taking root all over the world. Lakshya Arts was founded to help foster this momentum. As this community expands, so does the need for more organizations, more platforms, and more collaboration. The community needs spaces where emerging artists can perform, where musicians and dancers can create together, and where knowledge is shared between generations and across borders. Our dream is collaboration at every level — senior artists, junior artists, youth, emerging talent, and passionate young students — coming together not only from India, but from across the United States and around the world. We believe U.S.-based learners benefit most when they can observe and engage with the full breadth of this global artistic community: established masters and rising talents alike, from many countries and traditions within Indian classical arts. Lakshya Arts exists to help build that future.
