About
K. Uma Rama Rao, a Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam exponent, established Lasya Priya Dance Academy in Hyderabad in 1985. The academy trains students in the practical aspects of Bharatanatyam, its theory, talam, history, legend and myths, and philosophy. Senior students are also taught Nattuvangam and choreography.
