Akshita Singh Thakur is a young Kuchipudi dancer who made her solo debut, a pre-arangetram performance titled "Prarambham," at Saptaparni in Hyderabad on January 25, 2025, at the age of eleven. She is a disciple of Guru Amrita Singh, who has trained and nurtured her talent. Akshita has performed various Kuchipudi pieces, including Adi Shankara's "Ganesha Pancharatnam," Guru Vempati Master Garu's "Shivashtakam," "Krishna Sabdam," and a Thillana in Raag Miyan Ki Malhar, which was choreographed by her guru Amrita Singh. She has been described as a "child prodigy" with remarkable angasudhi (purity of line and form) and mastery over the Kuchipudi idiom. Her guru, Amrita Singh, is the Artistic Director of Kuchipudi Kalamritam.
