Bharatanatyam dancer of Japanese origin, celebrating 25 years of tutelage. Performed in Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi and other places in India. One of Japan’s most famous Bharatanatyam dancers and has performed as a soloist all over Japan. Has choreographed and performed many thematic natyanatakams based on Japanese folklore. Recipient of the ‘Natya Purna’ title. Lectures at Osaka University.
