1989
Traveled to India
1990
Became disciple of Shantha and V.P. Dhananjayan — Began solo performances in Chennai, Kolkata, and Delhi.
1991
Founded Thanmaye Natyalaya — Established Thanmaye Natyalaya Indian Dance Institute in Kyoto, Japan.
1995
Performed 'Natyanivedanam' and started studio theater — Solo performance at Ganapathi Temple in Chennai; started 'STUDIO Thanmaye 50-person Theater' studio performances.
2004
Began lecturing at Osaka University — Served as a part-time lecturer until 2011.
