Hridya Haridas is an accomplished Indian classical dancer specializing in Mohiniyattam, a graceful dance form from Kerala. She is a dedicated disciple of Guru Nirmala Panicker, a prominent figure in Mohiniyattam known for her contributions to reviving the desi repertoire of the dance form at Natanakaisiki, Irinjalakuda. Hridya Haridas has received significant recognition for her talent, including being a CCRT Scholar, a Young Artist Scholar awarded by the Government of India, and a Doordarshan Graded Artist. Her performances often incorporate novel folk elements, showcasing her innovative approach within the classical framework. Notably, she staged 'Mala Kurathy' as part of a Mohiniyattam Sandhya, a performance that dovetailed the classical dance with the centuries-old folk theatre of Tholpavakoothu. Hridya Haridas has also performed a Tillana choreographed by her guru, Nirmala Paniker. She was among the accomplished students who performed Mohiniyattam at the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award ceremony honoring Nirmala Paniker, where the inherent beauty and timeless allure of the desi style of the lyrical dance were exquisitely showcased. Her performances also include enacting the Dasavatharam in Mohiniyattam. She has performed at venues such as the Dr. K. N. Pisharady Smaraka Kathakali Club in Irinjalakuda.
