🪔 About

Induvadana Malli is a distinguished Bharatanatyam exponent and guru, carrying forward the rich legacy of her father, the late Padma Shri Adyar K. Lakshman. Born into a family deeply rooted in the arts, she developed a profound passion for dance and music from a young age. Induvadana Malli is a pivotal figure at the Bharatha Choodamani Academy of Fine Arts in Chennai, an institution established by her father in 1969. Following her father's demise in 2014, she, along with her sister-in-law Deepa Baba Prasad, has been instrumental in continuing and advancing the academy's work. She is recognized for her expertise in teaching the Kalakshetra style of Bharatanatyam. Her commitment to the classical dance form is demonstrated through her performances and her dedication to training aspiring dancers, ensuring the perpetuation of this traditional art.
