Her commitment to dance extends to education and institution building; she serves as a director of "Shinjan - Institute of Bharatanatyam & Creative Dance." This institution, which has branches in areas like Laketown and Kalighat in Kolkata, was established in 1987 and is dedicated to imparting training in Bharatanatyam and Creative Dance.
