Meghana Murthy is an Indian classical Bharatanatyam dancer who began her training at the age of five under Guru Smt. Vidhya Subramanian. She underwent 13 years of rigorous training in the Vazhuvoor style of Bharatanatyam, during which she participated in five stage productions. Murthy completed her Arangetram in 2009. Following her graduation from college, she continued to actively pursue Bharatanatyam, performing across the New York City area. Her notable performances include appearances at prestigious venues such as Lincoln Center (twice), Symphony Space, the New York Public Library, and the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning. Beyond traditional stage performances, Meghana Murthy has also ventured into film, taking on a lead acting role in the short film "BEAST."
