She is the founder and head of Natyanivedan Bharatanatyam & Sangeetham Classes, an institution that has been actively operating since 1997. Based in Sydney, Australia, Nikhila Kiran is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Bharatanatyam, offering comprehensive training to students of various age groups, including specialized mother-daughter classes designed to foster shared learning experiences. As a performer, she has graced numerous stages, notably presenting a performance at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Bengaluru on August 25, 2018. She is honored with the title “Vidushi Nikhila Kiran”, signifying her scholarly and artistic excellence in the field of classical dance. Through Natyanivedan, she has been instrumental in choreographing and staging large-scale productions involving over 65 dancers, thereby significantly contributing to the propagation and appreciation of Indian classical dance within Australia and beyond.
