Oami Amarasingham is an Indian classical dance teacher and performer based in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. She is a staff member at the Triveni School of Dance, where she teaches Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Odissi. Amarasingham completed her arangetram in 2000 and began her teaching career at Triveni in 2003. She is a former student of Neena Gulati, the founder and director of the Triveni School of Dance, who is recognized as a pioneer in bringing classical Indian dance to New England. In addition to her contributions to Indian classical dance, Oami Amarasingham also serves as the Deputy Director of the Massachusetts Public Health Association.
