Pranav Tadikonda is a Kuchipudi dancer based in Maryland, USA, known for his passion and dedication to the art form. He received his foundational training from Guru Lakshmi Babu of the Kuchipudi Dance Academy. His further training has been under the guidance of Guru Vempati Ravi Shankar and Guru Priyanka Vempati. Tadikonda completed his Rangapravesam (debut performance) in the summer prior to April 2019, presenting seven dances. He was recognized as a YoungArts Award Winner With Distinction and a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts. As of April 2019, he was a junior at Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, Maryland. More recently, in July 2026, he performed at the "Kuchipudi Baithak: An intimate celebration of Kuchipudi in Virginia," an event presented by the Tandavam Arts Foundation. Outside of his classical dance pursuits, Tadikonda is also a student at the University of Pennsylvania, studying Biology and Health & Societies, and is a dancer for Penn Dhamaka, a nationally ranked all-male fusion dance team.
