Raina Parikh is an accomplished Indian classical Kathak dancer, choreographer, and educator. She is a senior disciple of renowned Kathak Gurus Ishira Parikh and Maulik Shah. Raina frequently performs in duets with Kadam Parikh, who is also her husband and a fellow Kathak dancer. Together, they are recognized for their precise and stylish Kathak, having developed a distinctive and stylized approach to the form while maintaining its traditional integrity. Parikh is a lead dancer with the Aanart Dance Company and holds significant roles as a senior faculty member at the Aanart School of Kathak Dance. She also serves as a visiting faculty member for the Bachelor's program in performing arts at Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, contributing to the academic and practical training of aspiring dancers. Her contributions to the field have been acknowledged through her status as a graded artist of Doordarshan, India's public service broadcaster. Throughout her career, Raina Parikh has performed extensively at various prestigious dance festivals both in India and internationally, earning appreciation from critics and audiences alike. Her choreographic work includes providing artistic direction for productions such as 'Sankhya', where she, along with Kadam Parikh, conceptualized and shaped the performance. Other notable performances include a duet for the Sangeet Sankalp Saptah in 2021, a presentation for the NCPA Vistaar Session 50 in 2022, and a solo recital at Kalaprangan's Sanchari. She and Kadam Parikh have also choreographed pieces like 'Tilak Kamod' and 'Yugm' or 'Yugal', and performed a 'Shakti Aradhana' composed by their guru, Ishira Parikh.
