Ramya Durvasula is an accomplished Kuchipudi dancer and choreographer, primarily associated with the Kalanidhi Dance Company. She began dancing with the company in 2014 and had her arangetram, marking the beginning of her professional dance career, in 2016. Durvasula has performed at numerous prestigious venues across the United States, including the Kennedy Center (2014, 2015, 2017), Lincoln Center (2015, 2017), the Library of Congress (2014), the Drive East Festival (2017), and the Battery Dance Festival (2017). She has been a part of various Kalanidhi productions, including a full-length solo show in 2021. Durvasula has also ventured into choreography for Kalanidhi Dance, with her work "Shiva Panchakshara Stotra" gaining significant online viewership. This devotional piece, set to Uma Mohan's rendition of Shiva Panchakshara Stotram, was premiered at the Battery Dance Festival. She has also been featured in Kuchipudi performances like "Malhar Jam Thillana" and "Indian Classical Dance, Kuchipudi: Raga Labs Virginia".
