🪔 About

Ravali RMV is an accomplished Indian classical Kuchipudi danseuse, who has dedicated approximately eight years to the rigorous pursuit and performance of this traditional art form. Her foundational training in Kuchipudi was imparted by two distinguished gurus: Lakshmi Bhavani, who previously taught in Hyderabad and is now based in the USA, and Dr. Ardhanaareswaram Venkat, under whose tutelage Ravali RMV honed her skills at the renowned NrityaDarpana institute in Hyderabad. This comprehensive training has enabled her to develop a strong command over the intricate techniques and expressive nuances of Kuchipudi. Ravali RMV has graced numerous prestigious stages across India, showcasing her artistry and dedication. Her notable performance venues in Hyderabad include the esteemed Ravindra Bharathi, Thyagaraja Gana Sabha, and Shilparamam, all significant platforms for classical arts. Beyond Hyderabad, she has performed in Bangalore at venues such as Seva Sadan and as part of the Prapancha Telugu Mahasabhalu, a major cultural event. Her repertoire also includes participation in the Dance Ballet Festival in Hyderabad, where she featured in elaborate ballets like Kaalika Vijayam, Sripadaarchana, and Om Shakti, demonstrating her versatility in group productions. In addition to her performance career, Ravali RMV has actively engaged in the broader dance community, attending and contributing to workshops, including one organized by the Bharata Bharati Foundation under the guidance of Sri Vedantam Ramachandra Vara Prasad in Bangalore. Her early accomplishments include winning a state-level inter-school competition, highlighting her talent from a young age. She also participated in significant cultural events such as the Youth Festival organized by the District Youth Welfare Office, Ranga Reddy District, in 2001, and the "Yuva Utsav" State Youth Festival, presented by the Government of Andhra, in 2002. Further showcasing her diverse artistic abilities, Ravali RMV has also performed and choreographed various Gujarati and other folk dance forms, demonstrating a broader engagement with Indian dance traditions.
