Shreya Narayanan is an Indian classical dancer, choreographer, and teacher specializing in Bharatanatyam. She had her arangetram at the young age of 12, under the guidance of the Gurus of Padmini Institute of Fine Arts. Throughout her career, she has continued her training with esteemed dancers such as Shobana, Kalmandalam Radhika, and Aarti Bodani. Narayanan has performed for audiences in both the United States and India, captivating them with her precise timing, swift movements, and expressive abhinaya. She co-directs Shreyas Arts, a Bharatanatyam institution based in Tampa, Florida, alongside her mother, Sheila Pitchumoni Narayanan. Her mother founded Shreyas Arts in 2002, and Shreya was her first student. In addition to her dedication to classical dance, Shreya Narayanan is also a practicing gastroenterologist.
