Supriya Hosamane is a dedicated and aspiring Bharatanatyam artist, who embarked on her classical dance journey at the young age of five. She is a devoted disciple of Smt Jayakamala Pandian, a revered guru under whom Hosamane has meticulously trained and refined her Bharatanatyam technique and expressive capabilities. Her commitment to the art form is evident in her extensive performance history, having graced the stages of numerous prestigious Sabhas and temples throughout South India. These performances underscore her deep engagement with the tradition and her ability to captivate audiences with her artistry. Hosamane's talent has been formally acknowledged through several significant awards and recognitions. She holds a 'B Grade' from Doordarshan, a testament to her broadcast-quality performances. Further accolades include the 'Yuva Sri Kala Bharathi's Best Dancer Award', highlighting her excellence among young artists, and a 'Bharat Kalachar Cultural Scholarship', which supports her continued artistic development. In addition to her profound dedication to Bharatanatyam, Supriya Hosamane is also a skilled musician. She received training in the Mandolin from the legendary late Padmasri U Srinivas, a testament to her pursuit of diverse artistic expressions. Following his demise, she has continued her musical studies under the guidance of U Rajesh. Her artistic versatility extends to the technical aspects of performance, as she has been recognized for her proficiency in audio editing and choreography, contributing to the holistic presentation of her work.
