Surya Ravi is a Bharatanatyam dancer based in Dallas, Texas, who has been recognized for her innovative contributions to the art form. In 2016, she was an IndianRaga Fellow, participating in productions that included interpreting Maya Angelou's 'Still I Rise' through Bharatanatyam and a team choreography of Alarippu in an EDM style. Ravi has expressed her enthusiasm for dance and the collaborative environment fostered by the IndianRaga Fellowship. Beyond her artistic pursuits, she also maintains a full-time career as a healthcare consultant. Her performance credits include a Bharatanatyam presentation at the Smaran Dance Festival in 2018. Additionally, Surya Ravi was featured as a dance talent in the production "Amugdha Malyada," performing alongside Leema David, Vaishnavi Rajagopalan, and Ramitha Manjunath. She has also served as an IndianRaga Ambassador for Classical music, contributing to their productions by recording music videos.
