Taruna Jangid Pareek is a passionate Kathak dancer and a prominent figure in Indian classical dance, based in Jaipur, India. She is the Director of Bhav Sur Taal, a music institution she runs with her husband, Dr. Ankit Pareek. Taruna Jangid Pareek is a graded artist from Doordarshan and has received a national award. She completed a four-year course in Fine Arts (Music) from Rajasthan University, Jaipur, and is currently pursuing her PhD in the subject. She believes that dance is an immeasurable ocean of knowledge, and she finds her energy in her daily dance practice. Taruna Jangid Pareek actively performs Kathak, often accompanied by her husband, Dr. Ankit Pareek, on tabla. She is also dedicated to teaching, with many students learning Kathak from her at both national and international levels. Awards & Honours: National Award.
